Let the words in your track, relay your story,
Go on the attack, be it sadness or glory,
Whatever you write, you can guarantee,
lyrics shine bright, they can set your soul free.
They can give you a boost, make you feel grief,
Leave you seduced, even bring you relief,
That's the wonder of expression, for like it or not,
That everlasting impression, just cannot be bought.
They can make you feel good, or make you feel sad,
Change your mood, or make you go mad,
Next time you feel down, or just want to cry,
Play a song don't frown, go on give it a try.
Suddenly you're feeling, that inner lift,
It is so appealing, it's your special gift,
From that day on, you won't want to hide,
Let it bring that new dawn, you can then turn the tide.
Then as you listen, bad thoughts will disperse,
Let the music glisten, there is magic in verse.
You'll then realise, your problems are unfurled,
Throw off that disguise, you're on top of the world,
It's time to get writing, let your talent shine,
Make your words inviting, the feeling's divine,
If with compassion you're driven, yes, it's true,
The talent you've been given, will say, this is you.
Our saddest concerns, can be bitter sweet,
But what one learns, can save you from defeat,
Music is up there, where our soul belongs,
There's nothing to compare with,
