Just as sin came into the world,
Through just one man and death through sin;
Because all death so sin is hurled,
Corrupting all people within.
For sin was here before the Law,
If no Law sin is not counted;
If not counted there is no flaw,
Nothing would have amounted.
Yet death has reigned in early days,
Even over those whose sinning;
Not like transgression of their ways,
They had not been disciplining.
The free gift not like the trespass,
For if many died through just one;
But someone bridges the crevasse,
When the Father had sent His Son,
The free gift not like the result,
Judgment bought through condemnation;
The Scriptures giving to consult,
Confession will bring salvation.
By one offence a judgment came,
One act leads to justification;
For as Jesus Christ does proclaim,
To prepare for tribulation.
Because of disobedience,
The many were made as sinners;
But His glory brings radiance,
For confession makes us winners.
Now the Law came in to increase,
That the offence has might abound;
But iniquities will not cease,
Grace has done much more to surround.
For as sin has reigned unto death,
That grace might reign through righteousness;
Eternal life after last breath,
Through our Lord with blessedness.
