Stiff Upper Lip

I think the British must be crazy
They dont find it sleazy or sinister
That I look after all my mates as
British Government Cabinet Minister..
I authorise cotracts without
Any competetive tenders,
PPE for example awarded to
A firm of famous road menders.
Purely coincidental
My wife sits on their board
And I'll sue anybody implying
There's the slightest hint of fraud.
It's all in the Public Interest,
I only have their welfare at heart,
And it is only human nature
To let my mates play their part.
The Brits are so gullible
Believe everything I say
So long as i hint at lifting
Lockdown for Christas Day.
Oh, I'm a Cabinet Minister
A position folk dont normally linger
So i look after my mates and
Give the public the raised finger.
