 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

If anyone of your house,
Or of strangers who sojourn;
Eating of blood with their spouse,
Shall be cut off, not reborn.

Life of the flesh in the blood,
Makes atonement for your soul;
Offered on the altar would,
Take from the Lord His control.

No one amongst you shall eat,
The blood of the sacrificed;
For then it Satan you greet,
Who will lure to be enticed.

Someone who is a child,
Or who sojourn among them;
Are like beasts of the wild,
And eternally condemn.

For the life of each creature,
Within the blood which gives life;
All the traits that would feature,
In living to combat strife.

Every person who eats,
What dies or are torn by beasts;
Will find their own life depletes,
For anytime that one feasts.

Whether dweller or native,
Shall wash their own clothes and bathe;
Asking the Lord to forgive,
Promising never to scathe.

But he who washes them not,
Nor bathing his own body;
The Lord ignores what is sought,
Darkness from being holy.
