My own father told me before he died
I'll be here when you one day arrive
He was an educated man an engineer
And then very much then still alive
As it is seen him a few times after that
He's been dead almost fifty years now
Last night my wife downstairs me dozing
A voice spoke to me this heard and vow
A deep voice said You Ok Mate I said
Yep some days better some are not
I sat up then and and looked around
A voice I'd never in my life ever forgot
Not a single soul to be in the bedroom
I know what his voice sounds like true
I called my wife my earthbound angel
Told her of this as only I could then do
Not wanting to convince anyone of this
Take it all as you yourself well may
But after they die they all wait there
Till you do arrive some future day
