Life-force
A word or two…
For people to know
That no matter what…
Our life-force will go…
Let my words flow into your mind's…
And then make you realise,
No-one is infallible,
Everybody dies.
So this is my message today,
Spoken from my heart,
To tell it as it is,
So now I will make a start…
No matter what happens in life,
No matter the trials we face,
No matter the sadness, grief or struggle,
No matter the hassle's we face…
Life is very precious,
And in the space of one minute past…!
Just like that, it can be over,
That breath could be your last.
We never know when it will happen,
We will never be prepared,
We will never truly know…
We will never know if we are heard.
Seconds almost deemed me dead,
Seconds altered my life one day this week,
Seconds that caused confusion,
Seconds that made me weak.
To know that you need to fight to stay,
On this place called earth,
Help us to realise life is precious,
And realise our worth.
But when it's out of our hands,
When the body can't take any more…
And when the life-force inside you ebbs away,
And your fighting spirit is no more.
That's when it's a frightening experience,
When no-one can save you from slipping away,
So make your life the best it is,
Make it count today!
