He created and formed you,
He redeemed you, so fear not;
Everything He told true,
About the things you have sought.
You are His and must proclaim,
On passing through the waters;
While calling on His name,
To save your sons and daughters.
With going through the rivers,
The Lord shall not overwhelm;
As He will calm your shivers,
Warming while at your helm.
When walking through the fire,
He assures you not be burned;
No flame having desire,
Consuming is unconcerned.
For He is the Lord your God,
The Holy One, your Savior;
Whom you must honor and laud,
And bless you with His favor.
You are precious in His eyes,
Being honored and to love;
Giving wisdom to make wise,
Blessings flowing from above.
He is with you, so fear not,
And bring your seed from the east;
From the west where they had fought,
Gathering them for the feast.
From the north and in the south,
They will give up and withhold;
They hunger with open mouth,
For all the food to unfold.
Bring your sons and your daughters,
From the ends of all the earth;
To the banks of the waters,
Baptizing in a rebirth.
All who has called by His name,
Whom He has formed and has made;
In the glory you proclaim,
He will rescue and give aid
