We give thanks to God for you,
Constantly mentioned in prayer;
For the Lord is just and true,
Having so much as to share.
Remember before the Lord,
Father of labor of love;
Patience for hope not ignored,
Having faith from up above.
For we know the love from God,
Since you have been elected;
To give Him honor and laud,
Since Christ is not rejected.
The Gospel came not just by Word,
But by His Holy Spirit;
Full conviction what is heard,
Assured what you inherit.
You are an imitator,
In following of the Lord;
As a facilitator,
For being in one accord.
You received much affliction,
But His Spirit gives you joy;
Believing an addiction,
For spreading as you employ.
Not just the Word of the Lord,
Has been sounded forth from you;
In being loved and adored,
For all others to construe.
They show us the reception,
How you turned to the true God;
The God that gives redemption,
Whenever you have been flawed.
Wait for His Son from Heaven,
Whom He raised up from the dead;
Before the wrath is given,
For eternity ahead.
