- Ode to Mother Nature -

This precious Earth, this place of
life everlasting. Where humanity is
dominant, as we wreak havoc across
this planet.

I apologise on behalf of the human
race. For we are the scourge of this
fragile ecosystem, we call home.

Dear Mother Nature, I write this as
an apology. Please forgive us, as we
have ruined your jewel. We are sorry
for our acts of destruction.

Our need and greed for fossil fuels
created decades of pollution.
We are trying to correct this ; but
we are stuck for a solution.

We the people of this fruitful land
beg for your forgiveness, we spoild
this special place. As we plundered
resources, for our own gain.

As the wild life and native species
paid the ultimate price.
We've ravaged the third world, for
precious gems and batterd natural
forces.

Fossel fuels and chemicals have given
us wealth. As we became reliant on
products of advancement, and made
modern transport; powered by fuel
developed by mankind. As we poisend
the atmosphere.

Now the world is in poor health.

Dear Mother Nature. Please forgive
our sins. For we unleashed this hell
upon this Earth.

We are the cause of all environmental
catastrophy; as ice caps melt at a rapid
rate, and the ozone layer depletes.

We the human race, are on our knees
pleading to you, for what it's worth.

This planet needs to heal, it needs
to breathe again, to purify the air
from the toxicity of the human population.

As we go forward into a new world horizon.
We have deeply hurt this world we
call home. And it is in a great deal
of pain.

Our wild life is becoming endangered,
Because we've hunted it to the brink of
extinction.

We are perceived as been the dominant
species, but we don't have the understanding
to change, before we crash and burn into
oblivion.

We are reaching out across the voids
of space. To explore regions of our
galaxy. As humanity takes the next steps
in our evolution. Whilst we destroy
the world we live in.
