I am a pain body I've been told what it means and my face is by its definition tonight I woke from my dreams pinned down by them by my shoulders my mouth was open and other mouths were there pouring their sorrows and pain into my mouth I am their cup I am told the world is full of suffering and you are our vessel and we will fill you up with grief and pain which all Humanity needs to wake them up but wait I say I didn't sign onto this I didn't agree Circumstance they tell me is what happens to you and you reflect a certain purple light with a hidden shadow we know it was you what did you see when you awoke a small network of spider webs and tiny points of light scurrying around did you feel pinned down by your shoulders were you no longer hungry for pain yet it came to you in your shoulders first in you dangling knees and in your head its not some far off echo stop shaking your head we live there now with you we are the voices of those who suffered unspoken and now are dead you're out conduit you're our ears you're out malleable one you're the chosen one because you hear and hear and hear the pain is your body now the pain is your dreams the pain is your companion now you don't have our permission to leave but I have an appointment I tell them as my thoughts reverberate across the real world into their kind an appointment good luck with that they see me AS THEIR RAT they think they've cornered me made me their Algernon their Charlie with flowers they know I only like in the ground a place where I will never be I feel pain in my body but they don't yet have me I pinch my face and the web dissolves into words I'm out of my dreams.
