When I saw that your conduct,
Was not in step with the truth;
The Gospel you would obstruct,
While being so uncouth.
You live like a Gentile,
Even though you are a Jew;
Forced in a lifestyle,
That was never meant for you.
Because we are Jews by birth,
And not Gentile sinners;
Sojourning on planet earth,
Spiritual discipliners.
For man is not justified,
By his works under the Law;
But faith in the crucified,
Belief cancels any flaw.
Justified by faith in Christ,
Rather than your lawful deeds;
In Him you must be enticed,
Which will cater to your needs.
For in our endeavor,
In Christ to be justified;
That we shall be forever,
Be with who was glorified.
We were found to be sinners,
But Christ is not serving sin;
Subdued to make us winners,
Taught us how to discipline.
If I build what was tore down,
That I am a transgressor;
For Christ wore a thorny crown,
Put there by the oppressor.
For through the Law I had died,
So that I might live to God;
In which I was justified,
Canceled out where I was flawed.
I nullify not His grace,
Righteousness would have no goal;
For after I leave this place,
The Lord will embrace my soul.
