 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Why does the Lord stand far away?
And is hiding in times trouble;
Allowing the wicked to stray,
And bury us in the rubble.

In arrogance of the evil,
Hotly pursuing of the poor;
Schemes devised by the devil,
That have been wicked to the core.

For the wicked boasts desires,
Greedy desires of the soul;
Cursing the Lord that acquires,
For Satan as to gain control.

For I see the pride of his face,
Of what the wicked does not seek;
Thoughts of it being a disgrace,
And of me in being a freak.

God is not in all of his thoughts,
As his way prospers all the time;
Since in the schools they have not taught,
Breaking His commands is a crime.

For His judgments are very high,
As well as being out of sight;
For the foes merely give a sigh,
More pleasure in darkness than light.

God moves not through generations,
And shall not meet adversity;
For only His aspirations,
Allowing no perversity.

Evil is filled with such deceit,
Also cursing and oppression;
Vanity makes it lie and cheat,
Desires gives it obsession.

He sits lurking in dark places,
His eyes privily on the weak;
Bringing terror to their faces,
Showing no mercy what they seek.

The helpless are crushed and may fall,
They fall because faith is not strong;
God does not respond to their call,
Since their modesty is all wrong.
