I declare to you the Gospel,
In which I have preached unto you;
For standing as a disciple,
Because of knowing it is true.
And by which you are being saved,
If you hold fast what you believe;
Unto sin no longer enslaved,
Eternal life you will receive.
I give unto you first of all,
The importance what I believe;
Christ died so that you do not fall,
And salvation you will receive.
He was buried and rose again,
On the third day per the Scriptures;
Through the spiritual discipline,
The vision of many captures.
More than five hundred at one time,
Though they have now fallen asleep;
Soon awaken to make the climb,
To follow the shepherd just like sheep.
He was seen by James the apostle,
Out of due time as of one born;
The Son of God is colossal,
Living amongst us to sojourn.
I am wretched to say the least,
For I persecuted the church;
And should not partake of the feast,
Being a vulture on its perch.
But by grace of God as I am,
Grace unto me is not in vain;
Considered being as His lamb,
No more am I in carnal pain.
Whether then it was I or they,
We will preach so that you believe;
For learning to trust and obey,
The revival you will receive.
