Poetic Verses

Not good

How the behavior of some people has changed today.
It is depressing to see we treat each other in a way,
Their actions are something that has taken some effect,
Because it seems difficult to treat each other with respect.

Try with some to engage in what was thought to be a benign conversation,
Then as it deepens, and it taken on course to a new dimension,
Hoping that this may be perceive as a chance for enlightenment,
The response will make you shake the head in disappointment.

It is amazing and too so difficult to comprehend, this trend,
That is some ways in this world, there is a different stand,
The era of being good and even doing good was respected,
On occasions the benevolent ones are made to fee dejected

As one looks on there is such a feeling of a form of regret,
The way how the acceptance of a manner is now offset,
Because that need, creed and greed to acquire wealth,
Have made many into unsavory situation thus delve,

Grudgingly going around hoping to emulate the celebrity living apparently happily,
As in the mind there is that the person is living a life bathed in luxury,
Never taking time out to hear the person life story or journey,
So there is the belief that such happened easily In spontaneity

Yes of course we are awed at the wealth of those billionaires,
Sometimes acquiring off people then cause fears, spilling their tears,
Using contacts and the apparent might of such a position
Making them cower, if a worker, exploits as they are not in a trade union.

There are moments when we may sit and be overcome with envy,
Hoping someday that we may acquire a fortune and be wealthy,
The one day we hear on the news, that the person committed suicide,
The we may come to understand the somethings being wealthy cannot provide.

Around some people one had to tread very cautiously verbally,
Because there are some being called nice makes them react quite angrily
Say that to them it is such a polite way to figuratively embellish,
The fact that you are actually saying that they are foolish.
