A Word to the Wise....(CLASS of 2003)
Congratulations, Seniors
At this great milestone,
You've come a long way in 12 years
To set this cornerstone.
You've labored hard to lay
A firm concrete foundation,
Based on learning many things
In your education.
As you stand at the threshold
Of your Commencement Day,
Take the time to remember
And take the time to pray.
Be thankful for the past
Which thus has brought you here,
And those who helped you get there
Your Teachers and Parents dear.
So many Vistas beckon
A new world to explore,
Give thought to your Direction
As you exit High School's door.
Your new found freedom gained
Will be a mixed Blessing, you'll see,
For with your chance to choose
Comes Responsibility!
Remember that with each decision
Thus narrowed is your quest,
So seek with every Challenge
To wisely choose the Best.
And never be ashamed of Faith
It will be your Guiding Light,
Trusting your Life to the Lord
Will see you through darkest night.
So go on, to Conqueror the World
Building on what you have learned,
God Bless your Generation
May our world be better turned.
