Poetic-Verses

'' Us, They Shouldn't Need To Implore ''

To destroy where we berth,
Is totally insane,
On this Heaven called Earth,
We are causing her pain,
Of facts there's a dearth,
From the one with the brain?
Mother Nature, won't take much more.

What should cause concern,
We cast to the side,
For that treasure we yearn,
We create a divide,
Now's the time to learn,
We must swallow our pride,
Other's futures we cannot ignore.

If you have one,
You cannot take two,
When all's said and done,
That's what we do,
Though our end has begun,
The buck stops with you,
Each of us have the power in store.

As storm clouds gather,
The seas start to rise,
Yet the human would rather,
We just closed our eyes,
Even praying to Our Father,
Won't stop our demise,
Our behaviour is now seen as a bore.

By destroying that life,
On which we depend,
We give ourselves strife,
That, we cannot defend,
Though it cuts like a knife,
We are nearing our end,
What's extinct we can never restore.

What really sours,
Is none of us cares,
Yet we still have the powers,
To implement repairs,
The future's not ours,
It's our children, it's theirs,

‘' Us They Shouldn't Need, To Implore ‘'
