The Backyard Of My Life

If You Say So

Maybe shes sometimes cruel to be kind
Day after day shes caught up in a mischievous mind
You think you got the answers to questions you don't know
Whatever you believe if you say so

Shes convinced herself where it all went wrong
Tho there's something she cant quiet put her finger on
With feet fixed and frozen time moves so slow
Writes a message in a bottle signed if you say so

Tell me why
Tell me when
The sun is gonna shine again
Storm clouds will blow away
I will never hang on to something you say
Broken promises melting like snow
She speaks the truth if you say so

Your not the girl that you think you are
Watching walls collide there's consequences when you go to far
There's a cold cold wind picking up speed starting to blow
Fooling yourself your calling the shots if you say so

Do you do life or dose life do you?
Is everything random or is there a pattern to
The pieces of the puzzle
Left laying on the floor i guess we will never know
If you say so
If you say so

Deep down your convinced i'm nothing without you
With pathetic pride and vanity you wish the lies you told were true
Inside your empty garden flowers will never grow
Its the end its curtains for me its over if you say so

Tell me why
Tell me when
I will see the stars shine again
Rain clouds will fade away
Tomorrow is always another day
Beware of darkness and stones you throw
You tell me you will win again if you say so
