Arise and plead your case,
Let the hills hear your voice;
Why should the Lord erase,
When free-will gave a choice.
You endure foundations,
Indicted by the Lord;
Because of temptations,
His Law has been ignored.
So then what have you done,
How have you been wearied;
For your sin God does shun,
Burdened of weight carried.
He brought you to this place,
Redeemed from slavery;
Hoped that you would embrace,
Confident bravery.
His hopes that you may know,
Righteous acts of the Lord;
With humbleness to show,
To be in one accord.
What comes before the Lord,
Bow before God on high;
Show that He is adored,
Display a sincere eye.
Come with burnt offerings,
With a calf a year old;
For the blessing it brings,
Good fortune will unfold.
Will the Lord then be pleased,
Having thousands of rams;
Rivers of oil appeased,
Transgressed your sinful damns.
Give your firstborn for sin,
The sin fruit of your soul;
Rather His love begin,
Let His justice control.
