The Backyard Of My Life

Where We Built Our Dreams

Never forget where your coming from
Don't be afraid to stick to your guns
In a world gone wrong pulled apart at the seams
Always remember where we built our dreams

You never know when your days will be
Washed away by the sea
Flames will fade out in the sands of time
When rain clouds hide the sunbeams
Lights will guide the way to where we built our dreams

Magic moments memories tangled up in mysteries
Two branches of one tree unraveling our histories
Looking for gold searching for silver sunshine
Its tough on a tightrope trying to walk the line
Standing on the edge of the night
Life is like a rainbow its not so black and white

If the sky should fall come crashing down
However heavy lies the crown
Don't pay no mind to silent screams
Have faith in the future where we built our dreams

Illusions and fantasies
Lets all make believe
The world is not set in stone
You don't always get what you want but
You always get what you need

You never can tell how things will turn out in the end
Sometimes your biggest enemy could be your best friend
Like a box of lost wishes hopes and schemes
Waiting for tomorrow where we built our dreams
Always remember where we built our dreams
Lights will guide the way to where we built our dreams
Have faith in the future where we built our dreams
