Bora born

Five hours to T.I. _

Spat out by a failed marriage Ross found Janet

an unlikely pair some said, but they were wrong.

Their future proofed marriage would last across the

ages, time tested, cross cultured, to withstand

penetrations from others, impulse driven.

They saw him a mile away that T.I. mob

the new chum, bucks less sea sense, a likely lad.

The five metre cabin cruiser they flipped had

a plywood displacement hull, powered up gas car

engine with a promise to likely explode.

Ross' sea trial was a one way T.I. trip

with three donga mates out for a bit of fun.

A two hour trip found plus three against Entrance

Island currents, as the shore crawled past in the

wrong direction, panics slow rise came into view.

The squeeze was on through the Torres Strait, rapids

between islands, water up shafts and plywood.

Worry subsides, the grease green tidal surge sets

the pace, his lesson learnt, Captain Ross got his

money back on a survey of desperate means.
