My Brothers and Sisters wear many colors.
When I was a young boy, innocent and Naïve, I wore white.
Ghosts and Angels filled the night.
When I was a Marine, I wore the Green.
Lean and mean, with High self Esteem.
When I wear the blue, I support the police.
Protect and serve, This is True.
When I wear Black, I am in Mourning,
Sudden death without warning.
When I wear yellow, Don't tread on me.
Stand for God, Country and to be free.
I wear the Violet, mind is clear.
Live without regret, No Fear.
I wear the Red for everyone dead.
Sacrifices made, blood that was shed.
Not too often, I wear the orange.
Years fly by seasons change.
These days I wear the grey. I wear it well.
Good deeds paved to the road to hell.
