Baby Doll
Missing my baby doll today.
I used to take her with me
everywhere.
She made me feel safe.
Like someone
cared.
What happened to my
baby doll?
She was my world.
She was what duct-taped
my pieces together.
She disappeared
somewhere
between then & now.
I never got to say
goodbye.
Even as an adult,
sometimes I cry
for my baby.
I wish I had a mommy
who cared.
