Seeing the light
At the end of the tunnel,
Gives me hope anew.
I love her
& won't let a thing
Come between us two.
Dreams of her kisses,
My arms around her
Bring sunshine to my life.
Those who work
To hurt us
Stab us with a plastic knife.
It does not hurt
But serves to warn us
That all is not as we might hope.
But it strengthens my love for her.
I will not
Give up.
