The voices in my head
Drown me out.
Drown out the voice of reason
That's with me for the season.
Though I know it could be worse,
I've learned not to question
The sincerity of my heart.
Not everyone can say that
With conviction & clarity.
I dream of her by day
And the night terrors
Reign the night.
I desperately wish
She could be in my arms again.
I would do
Whatever it takes
To keep her
Past infinity.
I love her to the stars
Throughout all of eternity.
How
Could I let her
Slip away…
