My Poetry

The Seasons

Oh summer, I can't wait for your return
I miss the bright green trees and grass
And the warm days that aren't too hot
Summer, you are months away

Don't get me wrong,
I love all seasons
A beauty in their own right
I miss birds chirping

Winter, you're beautiful
You're quite cold to us all
A blanket of white hits the ground
Oh, what a sight to see, indeed

Autumn, your beautiful
For all the leaves do change
Colors of orange, yellow, and red
Oh don't forget purple and brown

Spring, you bring April showers
That means that You'll bring May flowers
A beauty in your own right; a sight to behold
Puddles everywhere I go, and there's a chill still

Spring, you bring life back to nature
After its long nap through winter
Winter, you are beautiful minus the cold
You bring a snowfall; reminds me of a snowglobe

Autumn, you bring change to nature
Leaves change and fall from trees
And summer, you're beautiful
A ton of flowers come and go
