Follow My Dreams
It's time to follow my dreams
The ones God has given me
Return to collge to finish my degree
To be able to help others who are in need
I will study hard, become committed
And I will stay focused on God
When I fall down, I'll get back up
I won't give in nor give up
I don't care what others say
ANd I don't care what others think
It's about what God says and thinks
It's not my business what others say
I've heard, "You can't do it; you're a girl"
And I've heard, "You shouldn't care bout titles"
Well, titles don't matter to me whatsoever
What odes matter is want God wants for me
I've been judged as books also have
I've been judged based on my looks
I don't have a body of a supermodel
And I don't have fame nor fortune
What I do have, is love
And I have compassion
I'd help anyone who needed it
I'm who God says I am
Even if no one is in my corner
I do have God to guide me along
If I have God, I have all I need
I will praise and worship my God
My God is Jesus Christ
Who is my Lord and Saviour
If He is for me, who can be against me?
For my God will guide me along the way
