 ramblings and things

You blew me a kiss
Across  the internet
But in real life
We never met.
We chatted happily
Nearly every day
Each finding enough
Things to say.
The internet being such
A peculiar place,
Only fantasy meetings
Never face to face
So, as the days passed
As, by and by
Found nothing in common
You and I,
Realising soon that
If we ever did meet
We'd avoid each other
By crossing the street.
Just an acquaintance,
Not a friend,
Time I think for
Our converse to end.
So it's goodbye,
Thanks for the the chat,
But I think we've both
Had enough on that.
I wish you joy
In all you do.
Please, don't  call me
And I won't call you.
I've learned my lesson,
Chosen to succeed yeah
By hours long sessions
On Wikipedia.
