The blank page has been a long bad dream
Too many years looking at the computer screen
With so many thoughts and things to say
I hadn’t realised how long I’ve been away
Life was going well until the world stopped working
And the pandemic stopped my ability to go exploring

I went on adventures to the very depths of my mind
I found things hidden that I wish hadn’t had to find
A treasure chest of regrets and remorse
Harsh realties of my life’s messed up intercourse

So I sat looking at the blue lines on the pad of A4
The ink was begging to explore
To write and write and write
And I tried with all my might
But nothing came out day and night
I wanted to tell the world how much I hated it
How it took everything away from me ,totally illegit
Then I realised this was a test
In which I had too invest
Everything
And return a king
Amen
I had life back in my pen

Welcome back imagination
Welcome back me
And hello world!
Get ready for my new poetry!
