Shout for joy in the Lord,
Praise befits the upright;
He is loved and adored,
As you stay in His light.
Give thanks unto the Lord,
Melody with a harp;
Praise Him in one accord,
Praising Him with your heart.
Sing to Him a new song,
Skillfully on the strings;
As others sing along,
The goodness that He brings.
For His Word is upright,
Such faithfulness is done;
Giving truth and insight,
All that He had begun.
For He loves righteousness,
Full of steadfast love;
And believes in justice,
Reigning from up above.
By the Word of the Lord,
Heaven and earth were made;
By His breath to afford,
Never to be dismayed.
He gathers the water,
Of the sea as a heap;
As the waves do mature,
Churning up from the deep.
Let the earth fear the Lord,
As the world stands in awe;
Let Him not be ignored,
That caused Adam to fall.
For He had come to be,
Commanding to stand fast;
That everyone could see,
Righteously ever last.
