Bless God the Father of the Lord,
According to His great mercy;
Be born again in one accord,
Opening your eyes as to see.
Born again to a living hope,
Through resurrection from the dead;
Jesus Christ renders aid to cope,
Of comforting embrace instead.
Inheritance undefiled,
Being kept in Heaven for you;
To be His adopted child,
for life to Heaven will pursue.
Whose power is being guarded,
Faith for a salvation ready;
Revealed that will be rewarded,
If faith is constantly steady.
Wherein you will greatly rejoice,
Though now for a little while;
Grieving by trials of your choice,
Keeping a righteous lifestyle.
Of your faith testing genuine,
More precious than silver or gold;
Honor through your discipline,
As revelation does unfold.
Though you have not seen or heard,
You love Him even if not seen;
For He has spoken through His Word,
About everything that has been.
Because of your faith you believe,
Joy that is inexpressible;
Full of glory that you receive,
That is makes Him assessable.
Your faith will obtain the effect,
For the salvation of your soul;
And becoming as His select,
If you honor, He will console.
