The Law of the Lord is perfect,
The testimony of the Lord;
Making it wise as to reflect,
Reviving as in one accord.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
The command of the Lord is pure;
Enlightening to give insight,
That is for certain to assure.
For the fear of the Lord is clean,
As the rules of the Lord are true;
Forever endured as has been,
Righteously that one will construe.
More to be desired than gold,
Even much sweeter than honey;
Confidence that makes your faith bold,
Wealthier than all the money.
By them is your servant is warned,
To keep them there is great reward;
Being at peace where had sojourned,
Shining favor down from the Lord.
Who can discern of his errors,
Declared innocence from the faults;
Through confession to God he shares,
That were locked up in secret vaults.
Keep back from your presumptuous sin,
Let them not having dominion;
Then be blameless cleansing within,
For freeing yourself from prison.
Let the words coming from my tongue,
And the meditation of my heart;
Acceptable as from the lung,
Are as what the Lord does impart.
