Misunderstanding
Today we go with zealous hearts
And God's word in our hands
To Sunday services for which
The world misunderstands.
Though evil men seek otherwise
To dismantle and destroy
The core of Christian principles
And strip from us our joy.
But we must not let that happen
Or cower down in fear
For in spite of what may lie ahead
We have to persevere.
And know the Lord will bless us
If we trust Him to the end
Because there is no other name
On which we can depend.
