He will command His angels,
To guard you in all your ways;
Protecting you from evils;
Avoiding someone that strays.
On their hands they bear you up;
That your foot strikes not a rock;
And drink from a hallowed cup,
Never alone where you walk.
You will tread on the lion,
Underfoot trample the snake;
Making your way to Zion,
His angels will not forsake.
For He holds fast you in love,
He delivers to protect;
As His angels from above,
Will ensure not to neglect.
He sees you when in trouble,
Answering you when you call;
Rescuing from the rubble,
When you have taken a fall.
With long life you satisfy,
And giving you salvation;
For He will never deny,
Being a new creation.
