Scraps of paper floating about,
as dust particles in the air
Deserted buildings, overgrowth on the ground
With no one around to care
Bodies scattered up and down the streets
Death in peoples faces no matter who you meet
A population that has been decimated
Most bodies look as if they been cremated
What a beautiful life the earth has given us
With man's destruction, we have broken nature's trust
The beauty this planet has given mankind
Only to be destroyed, it's beauty harder to find
If there are not the wars around the world
At an alarming rate
Or people killing each other, just out of hate
This destruction has already begun
Soon no one left mother father or son
Climate change, now war in Ukraine
Pandemics all around this rate no one left to remain
This planet destruction began many years ago
So, the worlds scientist letting us know
People call me a doomsayer, you are so negative
Then prove me wrong, show me how to be more positive
