Thunder Rolls
Sitting in torment
The storm rages on
With the pain left behind
Praying to be gone
So much not understood
How lies replace truth
Just the lack of care
Reveals the truthful proof
When lies are all that is said
Is dismissed not to count
It leaves one standing silent
Too painful to talk about
When lies told
Finally called out
In a flash gone
No where about
Dismissing ones heart
As though it isn't there
The pain is so deep
A heart dies... No longer cares
Retreating to the dark
To sooth a battered soul
How can such pain be planned
And be ones ultimate goal
Tears have no end
Pain just won't quit
Retreating to the dark
Now lacking all grit
Will the clouds ever break
The storm ever cease
The pain rages on
God please, please grant peace
But then another crack of lightening
And the thunder rolls…

ღ God asked me
How long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
