Oh! Change
Who could remember when relatives emigrated
That would make the family members so elated
Because it was felt by making such a move
Life for them and by extension the others shall improve
Then there was what seem a very long wait
As they expectantly watch the postman go by the gate
Then one day a smile came over the face as they felt better
As there was that receiving of the long awaited letter
But there were times when something had to be sent urgently
There were no couriers for a quick delivery
So that time the only system available
Was to go the route of sending off a cable
I could remember the only places with telephones
They were usually installed at the plantations
So to make a call to the police or doctor
This was at the discretion of the manager
Alas along came that national expansion
And line were made available to anyone
Mass instillation as people were able to communicate
With anyone at any time even at tine very late
Then over time even more progress was made yet
And there was the computer and internet
As this now introduce such an added dimension
One was not only able to speak, there too was vision
And as those features and function continue to grow
The great impact on sectors began to show
Therefore some businesses found it convenient
To cut out certain sector from their department
This Covid too brought along it own type of drama
It too in some cases caused some hysteria
As work places closes some found that zoom
Could allow that work communication from a home room
Now workers and employers saw the relevance
In working and enjoying that home ambiance
But employers found something to remarkably
There was an increase in productivity
But too one now can see how totally
This have taken hold of the population totally
And if you see people walking
You can bet it's something on the phone they watching
So how can we try to address
The using the technology of which we are blessed
Because we are reaching that situation
When there will be little or no conversation
