The Backyard Of My Life

Sometimes

Sometimes no matter how hard you try
To get yourself together
The world around you comes tumbling down
You get tangled and tied up in the tears of a clown
You get knocked of your feet by a hurricane
Your standing at the station
Where you have missed the last train
With nowhere to go you have got nothing to loose
Your free to be whatever you choose

Sometimes i wonder why are we really here
To come with the dust then disappear
Was it all by chance or some grand design
Are human beings a huge mistake
Or holly and divine?
Is there such a thing as heaven and hell
Does the universe have some kind of cosmic secret to tell
If it did would my mind be able to comprehend
Is reality really real or is it illusion and pretend

Sometimes i think to myself whats it gonna take
For the scales of justice to tip
When out of the blue like lightning tearing through the sky
I tell myself its now or never do or die
Live for today before your dead
Don't keep your dreams inside your head
Don't waste a moment life is too short
You better do it now before its to late
Always remember to love never give into hate

Sometimes when the weight of the world
Hangs heavy on your shoulders
Everything is broken shattered like glass
Nothing lasts forever these troubled times will pass
Everybody has a battle to fight
A thorn in there side a burden to carry
Shadows and darkness trying to swallow the light
Maybe there's a reason in these rhymes
I think about it now an then sometimes
