Poetic Verses
Those deeds
There is that saying about exuberance of youth
And many of us by experience, know it is the truth
Always seeming to have that abundance of energy
Like good champagne always so bubbly
Those many night of party and coming in late
That did not even cause any thought to procrastinate
Effervescent and that resource of stamina
Provide that drive in the early morning hour
Remembering those days with friends, such banter
Teasing and laughing, joking, about each other
And if ever being caught in a comical situation
You can be sure a name was coined for that occasion
Could it be that changes were bought on by mass media
That a country's methods could cause such hysteria
As many of the youths now adopt that culture
One can now see the fruits and the danger
There in now this proclivity to be angry
Gone are the days of settling anything amicably
Because when there is a slight difference of opinion
It is now being settle with some form aggression
Also too there is now no show of patience
Not wanting to wait not even for an instance
Saying no time to waste, cannot wait to build
In former times budgeting, building was a thrill
There is no doubt we are living in a situation
Where evil, lying and corruption have no opposition
And this state is even getting lots of support
By those whom we put to govern, justify supported by our vote
Is this the legacy or example that they want for their children
What is this behaviour saying about the strength of those men
Now there is such a display of persons so greedy
Thus endangering the future and stability of the country
