Christ does not ask only for these,
But also those who will believe;
Through the Word floating in the breeze,
Those who are willing to receive.
They may all be one just as you,
The Father is in you and in me;
So that the world also construe,
So that they are able to see.
The glory that has been given,
That they may be as we are one;
As our ticket to Heaven,
Where we are greeted by the Son.
That they may become as perfect,
So the world may know who was sent;
Having a love not to reject,
But to confess and to repent.
Desire by what is given,
The love before the foundation;
For us in entering Heaven,
Giving the gift of salvation.
Even though the world does not know,
Jesus already knowing you;
Because Christ is willing to show,
What is fundamentally true.
He has made known to them His name,
The love He has for everyone;
That each of us needs to proclaim,
On the Spirit, Father, and Son.
