She's off to go digging looking for gold
When both were so young
Lots of planning to have a whole lotta fun
Going to parties wherever they went
Rarely not even making a cent
Their looking for gold kind of put aside
At first planning to head for the hills
To bring back some big dollar bills
Go out make their mark before they were to dam old
Let's go out and get us some real pure gold
Plans to go out and make their fortune
Kind of went bust just like a big old balloon

Well, they didn't get rich
They both settled down and got themselves hitched

But did gain a whole lot more confidence
Their trip thru life had been a blast
Not regretting anything they did in their past
In the start the girls were never very shy
But surprised how fast the years flew by
