Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Black and White

You gave life to the darkness

stole the light from my day

you brought to my life sadness

took everything away.

My life now has no colour

there is only black and white

there are no longer grey areas

where wrong could be right?

You have made me a monster

taken all of my pride

stole from me my future

destroyed everything inside.

But you offer no answers…

as to why this is so?

You offer no resolution

to letting this go.

I am betrayed...

by my own flesh and blood

what sort of man must I be?

To be left alone, shipwrecked and lonely

with nothing to hold onto…

except me?!
