Baldilocks

ŶI'm not going bald
The young man said
Just had a growth spurt
To the top of my head
It's grown so fast
It's pushed right through
There was really nothing
My hair could do

It's luxuriant and thick
On the back and sides
 It's just on the top
Where my flat hat rides.
Apparently it happens
To some men of my age
When the brain enters
Accelerated growth stage

It's one of those things
We have to accept
As our heads make room
For expanded intellect.
So, I'm not going bald
It's  just a dubious prize
A consequence of
My brain expanding in size

Some people just laugh
And call me Old Baldilocks
They've just not learned to
Think outside of the box.
Now I understand
I don't  really care
If this extra brain power
Means losing some hair
