The Backyard Of My Life

Somewhere Far Away In A Beautiful Dream

Walking down a rainbow road looking out with eyes of gold
Purple clouds and silver raindrops fall into pools of light
A girl with diamonds in her hair sits at the center of a circle on the sand
Seven wild white horses with wings fly across a ruby red sky
We are all projections and reflections of the one and only truth
Standing under waterfalls of cherry smoke
Drifting softly surrounded by butterflies and Plasticine flowers

Sailing on a paper boat in the bottom of a bottle on a mantel piece
There's a Phoenix fire bird dancing over the ocean made of glass
A tiny tin man standing at the station is waiting to ride a twilight train
To somewhere far away in a beautiful dream
Where wishes wash out on the promised land a paradise lost
Over the horizon a neon city is silhouetted by the setting sun
While musical notes from a multi colour band hang in the air

Its only make believe its only pretend nothing is really real
Its only an echo of eternity in a never ending spinning wheel
Chimes of love whisper in the wind
Its wonderful tonight heaven is about here

Sitting under an umbrella of dandelion in summer shade
There's a man living in a house of snow on the big yellow moon
You can catch all the shooting stars in your hands
A thousand pretty balloons float and flood into empty heart shaped boxes
Cut to the clock tower made from marsh mellows time is standing still
Eight lucky black cats cast the perfect spell without warning
To put an end to all violence hatred and suffering
In a beautiful dream somewhere far away
