Breakfast for two

Her body reacted, her blouse told the truth,

In the same store together, did he see, did he look?

She know that he had, couldn't miss when she blushed,

Romance on the cards, will he ask? Hope he does.

The checkout was messy, a sugar bag split,

The cornflakes burst open and so did the milk,

Embarrassment high, couldn't think what to do,

'Til a soft voice behind whispered 'breakfast for two?'

A knight on a white horse, a gent through and through,

Took care of her shopping and paid the bill too,

Out in the car park two trolleys caressed,

Made plans for the future, exchanged their address.
