 ramblings and things

smallstepsmadpotepotriemantheartfulcodgerscogspeaksvolumes
Fine Dining seems a concept
I just don’t understand
Half cooked and presented as
Though minutely planned
That’s Fine Dining they said.

They served me my meal
On a lump of old slate
If possible please I prefer
Food served on a plate.
That’s Fine Dining they said.

And the presentation is just
Like a work of art
So much care and effort made
In arranging every part
That’s Fine Dining they said.

I’ll go to the art gallery if I want
To see art that is good
I came here in the expectation of
Just being served food
That’s Fine Dining they said.

My friends brought me here for
A special Birthday treat
And I’m sorry I just don’t like
Barely cooked meat
That’s Fine Dining they said.

So I though the creed was that
The customer was right
Somehow that seems not the case
Sitting here tonight
That’s Fine Dining they said.

I expressed my dissatisfaction and
They showed me the door
And we all amicably agreed that I
Shouldn’t come here anymore
That’s Fine Dining they said.

I posted on their Facebook a picci
Of Burger, chips and tea
Purchased just down the road from
My local Macci D
That’s Fine Dining it said.

It didn’t stay there for very long

Adding substance to the rumour

Those Fine Dining Food Fanatic

Don’t have much sense of humour.

That’s Fine Dining they said.
