Life's Puzzles
Quite often with life's puzzles
There is oft a missing piece
And till we find it, there's no doubt
Our worries will not cease.
Some find it in a bottle
And drink their cares away
But only for a little while
To their sadness and dismay.
Others look for it in worldliness
Chasing wealth and material things
At last, to feel the emptiness
That hedonism brings.
But when they come to realize
And see what has been lost
Their lives become quite meaningless
At such enormous cost.
These things rang true in my own life
Till I learned the missing piece
Is not found in this present world
Where worries never cease.
