 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
How far you fell from Heaven,
O Day Star and son of Dawn;
Cutting to what was given,
Laid the nations low thereon.

You say that you will ascend,
Above the stars upon high;
The far reaches to offend,
Sit on the mount to deny.

He will ascend to the clouds,
Making himself the Most High;
Until honored by the crowds,
The righteous he will deny.

He shall be brought down to hell,
The far reaches of the pit;
To the place where he will dwell,
The rebellion to admit.

Those who will see you will stare,
As they ponder over you;
Shaking kingdoms to despair,
Causing people to argue.

He made the world a desert,
Overthrowing its cities;
Causing so much discomfort,
That no longer one pities.

Lie in glory all the kings,
Everyone in their own house;
As joy with merriment brings,
Birth of a son by their spouse.

From your grave, you are cast out,
Like a branch that has been loathed;
Pierced by a sword having doubt,
Dead bodies have been unclothed.

Go see the stones in the pit,
The dead trampled underfoot;
In Heaven that were unfit,
The place where God had put.

The seed of evildoers,
Will be facing the slaughter;
For the wicked pursuers,
Boiled in fiery water.
