The Backyard Of My Life

She Brings Everyone Down To Earth Even The Angels

You better think twice what the hell you playing at
She says it like it is to the wino junkos
To foolish men who act like boys
To girls who are not very lady like
Shes not afraid to call a spade a spade

Gives her opinion whether you want it or not
She wouldn't take anything she didn't deserve
And always puts up a fight for any underdog
She was born into this prison with wings of steel
To cut through the depravity of urban life

She is proof that the sun always shines on the righteous
And that only the good get out of society's shackles
She was never interested in fortune or fame
And always puts others before herself
She will never let fear burn down her playful heart

Never was one to shy away from getting her hands dirty
Throwing her self straight into the thick of things
With an aura bright and shinny like a new penny
Always radiating a graceful manner
Speaking softly with those lips of cherry red

She will always choose her words carefully
Her favorite poem ode to a nightingale always makes her cry
She knows how to keep you on your toes
With a multitude of ways to move you deep inside
Wearing a coat of many colours with a loving mind

She never gives in she wont surrender and refuses to quit
Shes always keeps her promises she has a strange kind of courage
A factory girl who dances to classical music
With flashing eyes that look a lot like rose petals
With her heart on her sleeve helping to heal unreasonable sorrow
There will never be another like her
