Poetic Verses
Is there progress
No matter how things may be tough
Even when the tides in the sea of life get rough
There is no doubt that the power of the mind
Provides that citadel in that testing time
Never expect that road through life is easy
And that message should be spread very widely
So in the process train those many children
To respond to the challenges that shall confront to them
We have all been bought by the stages of progress
Many devices are employed for those chores to to assist
As those many household chores are made easier
Even do joyful, there is that ignorance of the looming danger
As most are electronically powered driven
There may in the process emit some form of radiation
Some experts may say this may be of a very low frequency
But this may prove to harmful to somebody
Now it can be seen that youth are getting lazier
Because there seems to be an affinity for the phone and computer
This too have presented so such a grave situation
Because it has displaced recreation and conversation
Appearing quickly and are placed in many de be developments
Are restaurants and those fast food establishments
Food readily available and to the children's taste
Before too long there are extra inches on those waist
We all must embrace the benefits derived from progress
But remember that this will place something new in our midst
So as we try to grapple with many of life 's equations
