It is now the vampire`s time of day
When he is able to come out to play
He fears the light but he loves the dark
And on his adventures he can embark.
It`s said he can turn himself into a bat
I can definitely assure you of that
I`ve seen him flying about at great speed
Looking for prey on which he can feed.
He`s after blood for which he has a great thirst
Pray tell me, do you want to be his first?
If not then I suggest you stay in the light
So never ever go out in the night.
When light returns he`s nowhere to be seen
But those with puncture marks know he has been,
His thirst for blood is quenched once more
But when night returns he`ll be out again for sure.
So close all your windows and lock your doors
Now this the vampire really abhors,
But he`ll soon move on to find his next prey
So inside the house is where you must stay.
